This is a pre-owned item, copyright 1985. Comes with some unused blank cards, stickers, the two prepared cards, and the original instructions.
Effect: The magician exhibits a small packet of blank cards and a sheet of small round labels. Using the top blank card, the magician sticks one spot in each corner. He then turns to the blank flip-side and applies one spot to the center. He shows each side again, and something strange happens: suddenly the number of spots starts to change from four to six, then from one to three, then back to one and four.
After a series of changes, the magician reveals how the trick. is accomplished: he uses extra spots and merely covers them with his fingers to give the illusion of having more or less spots than he started with. However, soon after the explanation, the spots start to truly multiply until finally both sides are filled with a total of eleven spots. The card may immediately be handed out for examination, and the spectator may keep it as a souvenir.
This effect is reminiscent of the old “Popeye Pips” where the number of spots on a card constantly change. This effect is much stronger because you apparently start with a blank card and apply the spots right in front of the spectators. Furthermore, unlike the former gimmicked version which can not be examined, this new version allows you to let them examine and keep the final climax card.
