This is one of the most popular paper tearing tricks ever created. In effect magician displays a long strip of paper with the word HABIT on it. He explains that this is a bad HABIT, and he is going to try and break it.
He tears off the ‘H’, and shows that ‘A BIT’ is still left. He tears off the ‘A’ and shows that a ‘BIT’ still remains. He tears off the ‘B’, but explains that ‘IT’ has still not gone. Finally he tears off the ‘I’ to show that only the ‘T’ remains.
Tea, he explains, is another bad HABIT, developed in trying to break the first bad HABIT. As he says this he folds the torn pieces together into a small packet, opens them out, and the complete paper strip is restored with the word HABIT on it again, – it seems habits never go!
A very cute and entertaining bit of business that’s so easy to do. You receive enough papers to perform the trick ten times. Comes with full detailed instructions for performing plus gives other suggestions for use. Each Habit paper measures approximately 17″ long by 4″ wide. The bold red lettering on the white paper allows the trick to be quite visible for long distances so performing this trick on the stage is no problem.
