Description
This vintage Bakelite French die thermometer unfortunately has a cracked lens and a small 1/2″ hairline crack in the die itself on the number two side. Please see the pictures.
The bottom face of the thermometer is marked Blavia and below that it says Modele Depose, Made in France.
The thermometer works.
The color of the die is a sort of reddish brown.
If you check on eBay you will find that an undamaged one can sell for anywhere between $64.00 and over $100.00 with the shipping included.
We are letting this one go for a low price if anyone is interested.
The die measures approximately 1-1/2″ per side.
