Acquired this from an old magician’s estate. It is not complete. Comes with the original packaging box, along with the sea shell, three plastic pearls, 3-inch diameter metal ring, some of the original invisible thread, and the original 4-page instructional sheet, all as pictured.
The original pre-recorded tape cassette of music is not included. The hinge to the sea shells is gone and you will have to make up something else as a hinge. The original sticky tape is gone but finding something else to replace it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
What follows is a description of the original presentation as seen by the audience:
Performer begins with extended open left hand upon which is an attractive hinged sea shell. Upon command or the beginning of music, the top of the shell slowly opens by itself, disclosing a beautiful
The right hand gestures and the pearl wiggles mysteriously to life. Now the pearl slowly rises into the air with a bobbling, dancing motion and frolics six inches above its shell with no apparent aid.
The shell is removed by the right hand, proving no connection between it and its dancing pearl, and then replaced. Performer moves his right hand under, above, and all-around the animated sphere to eliminate all possible theories.
Performer now moves to viewer on his left and brings hands and pearl to a position bouncing on the end of their nose! Leaving the bewildered viewer with their eyes crossed and
none-the-wiser, a move is now made to the viewer on the right.
A large, gleaming bracelet-ring, dangling from the fingers of the left hand, is now picked up by the right fingers and passed back and forth over and around the pearl, proving again no connection.
Performer may also choose to bring the pearl up to the viewers nose for a second. Moving quickly away from the table the magician goes down among them in the audience or around the table.
Going among the audience allows very close inspection and truly astounds. As performer turns back to the table, the pearl is seen to change position and floats between the performers hands. After a few seconds, the performers hands turn back to their original position, as does the pearl. The right fingers now point a command of lowering to the pearl, which obeys with slow bobbling descent into its sea-shell throne. The lid of the shell is touched momentarily and it slowly closes of its own accord, thereby creating the perfect end to this breath-taking miracle!
