We picked this up from an old magician’s estate buy-out. It’s in very nice pre-owned condition. No instructions (the way we acquired it) but we will type up some for the buyer. The working is very easy.
One Possible Effect: The magician introduces a beautiful wooden red picture frame mounted to a black wooden tiered base. The picture frame is seen to be empty. It is covered with a handkerchief. Next a deck of playing cards are shown and one card selected. This card is caused to vanish and when the handkerchief is removed from the frame the selected card is found inside!
You receive the frame (with the card pictured) and instructions. You can easily remove the card from the frame and replace it with whatever card you wish. You must supply your own deck of cards and the way to vanish the card as well. Most magicians own a Card Box or a Devil’s Napkin and either of these two props can be used to easily vanish the card but you can use any method you like.
You can also use this as a torn and restored effect where the selected card is torn up, one piece is given to the spectator, and the remaining pieces vanish only to reappear restored inside the frame, minus the one corner which matches, etc.
You can use it with any type of flat item that will fit into the frame. You’re not locked into using it just with playing cards. Use it for tricks with paper money, business cards, or an actual picture if you wish.
The complete assembly measures 7″ tall by 7-1/2″ wide at the base. The actual red picture frame measures 6-1/4″ tall by 4-3/8″ wide.
