We acquired these from an old magic shop buy-out a while ago. They are vintage new old stock (NOS) and come with their original box and instructions as pictured as well as the metal clip gimmick.
They are nice quality clips that will hold a cigarette firmly against the back of your second finger in readiness for producing from the air. While holding a hat or other opaque receptacle in your other hand you can create the illusion of catching a good number of cigarettes out of thin air and placing them into your hat. For a surprise finish the hat is shown to be completely empty!
Or if you have secretly loaded in a number of cigarettes beforehand you can apparently show the audience all the cigarettes that you have produced.
