Ball and Tube Mystery (Steel) by Mr. Magic

Description

Here is a nice close-up effect that every magician would like to carry in their pocket and perform whenever the opportunity arises.

Effect: You hand out a solid steel ball and a metal tube to a spectator and then ask them to pass the ball through the tube. The spectator finds it impossible to do so because the ball is too large to fit inside the tube. Now the magician takes the ball and the tube in his hand and makes the solid steel ball shrink and and then slowly sink down into the tube. And just as mysteriously, causes the ball grow and force itself back to rise upwards so it rests on top of the tube once again!

After the effect is performed you can hand out the tube and ball for examination and the spectators will be unable to duplicate the effect.
