Fourth Dimensional Tunnel

Description

The Fourth Dimensional Tunnel aka Die Tunnel has been a favorite of close-up workers since its introduction years ago. But the problem with the original is that you can’t hand it out or let someone try it because they could figure it out. There was no way to hide the secret if it was handled. But now with Viking’s new version, designed by Sunil and David Batra, partners in Batra/Viking Exclusives, the tunnel can be handed out for examination.

Effect: A block is shown having six different colors, any of which can be chosen by a spectator. The block is pushed through the tunnel and is seen through the two observation windows across the top of the tunnel. The performer merely pushes the block through the tunnel with the wooden wand, and when it exits, nothing unusual to report, no change in the block’s position.

The moves are repeated, but this time, the performer taps the block twice on the tabletop, pushes the block through the tunnel, and this time, the spots do change! This is repeated again with a different color, and again, the block changes within the tunnel, yet the block can’t rotate inside the tunnel, as there is simply no room.

A spectator is allowed to try and finds it impossible to cause the block to rotate or change spots.

As mentioned above Viking’s version is unique in its operation and will fool even those who have the original Die Tunnel.

Viking’s Fourth Dimensional Tunnel is made from select hardwood, as is the small wand supplied with the effect.
