Very nice pre-owned condition. Comes with the original packaging box, the two colored tubes – one gray and one gold, secret gimmick, cardboard disks, rubber bands, and the original detailed two pages of instructions. The larger gray tube measures 4″ in diameter and stands 10″ tall. The smaller gold tube measures 3-7/8″ in diameter and stands 10″ tall.

Rice’s Haunted Chimneys is a classic magic trick, invented by Harold Rice and produced by Silk King Studios. It involves two metal tubes that appear empty, from which the magician can produce a large quantity of silk handkerchiefs or other objects. The trick is known for its ability to produce a large load, even larger than the tubes themselves, and for the ability to show the tubes empty repeatedly.

The tubes are constructed from seamless aluminum and feature a special, durable finish.

Rice’s Haunted Chimneys use a method similar to the classic Organ Pipes but it really has significantly evolved with the clever gimmick used, permitting some very clean moves when showing the chimneys empty.

The chimneys will hold over 100 square feet of silk! A dozen yard squares can be produced from them without reloading. The exact footage of silk produced depends upon the weight of silk used. This wonderful effect can be worked within 3 feet of ANY audience, completely surrounded. It is 100% self contained, contains no mirrors, suspended loads, sleeve or body loads of any kind.
