Description

The original cast iron Magician Bank was first manufactured by J. & E. Stevens Company, Pennsylvania, circa 1901. An original bank recently sold on eBay for over $2,000.00.

This model is a modern cast iron reproduction from somewhere in the 1970’s or later.

We picked this up from an old magician’s estate.

Measures approximately 7″ long, 4″ wide, and stands 8″ tall.

Operates by placing a coin on the table and pressing down lever. This brings down the magician’s arms to cover coin with his hat. Pushing back up on the lever the arms return to their original position and the coin has disappeared into the bank. We have tried it out and it works perfectly.

The only fault is that there is a corner crack in the cast iron bottom which does not affect the operation of the apparatus. See two pictures of the fault mentioned. Everything else that is visible when the bank  is in the upright and operating position is in good condition.

Note: Because of the weight additional shipping charges may be required. Please contact us first before ordering.
