Description
This is a pre-owned item that is in good working order and comes with instructions.
Effect: A round metal brass box, its top, and a single aluminum metal die are shown. A chosen spectator is given the box to hold behind their back. They are then given the die and told to place it inside the box behind their back. Lastly, they are given the cover and told to place it on the box concealing the die.
They are then told to bring their hands out in front of themselves with the box resting on the palm of one hand. The performer can then reveal in a number of ways the number that appears on the face up side of the die!
What gives this effect a really particular punch is that the magician apparently has at no time handled the box or die until after the selected number is revealed.
The method is quite ingenious!
A one-person effect.
No confederates used.
Note: The brass box is slightly tarnished from age and will need some cleaning, otherwise it’s fine.
