Description
The Foolproof Locator Deck by Bruno Canaldi is a specially prepared Bicycle poker-size utility deck designed for card magic that allows a magician to easily track, force, or locate selected cards.
Unlike other classic gimmick decks like the Svengali or Stripper deck, the Foolproof Locator Deck uses a short-card system:
• The Construction: The entire deck of cards has been professionally trimmed down slightly in length, and the corners have been machine re-rounded so it looks and handles exactly like an ordinary deck.
• The Gimmick: Because every card in this custom pack is slightly short, if you take any standard, unprepared playing card from a regular deck and insert it, that card instantly acts as a “long card”.
• The Effect: As you handle or cut the cards, your fingers will naturally catch or stop on the single regular-sized card, allowing you to locate or force it instantly without needing complex sleight of hand.
Key Features:
• Indistinguishable Visuals: The die-cut corners eliminate jagged edges, meaning laypeople cannot spot the difference even when a card is resting flat on a table.
• Versatility: The deck can be used in reverse—using the custom cards as the locators or the force cards—giving you 52 different options to switch up your routines and throw off observant spectators.
• Bonus Inclusions: The deck comes with a dedicated 7 page instructional booklet of handling techniques and an unconventional bonus: Bruno Canaldi’s personal family spaghetti sauce recipe.
