This came from an old magician’s estate. This is an original earlier version from Al Cohen’s shop (copyright June 1989) with printed instructions and no DVD as the trick is currently being sold. It’s in very good pre-owned condition and comes with the specially prepared long rope and other needed piece.

A brand-new version of an old classic effect “WALKING THROUGH A ROPE”. This method uses no special boxes or cabinets and can be accomplished with the help of anyone from the audience.

Performed property this is one of the most baffling illusions you will ever use! It’s an absolute fooler!

Here’s the effect as the spectators see it: A long piece of rope (approximately 15 feet long) is tossed to someone in the audience. That person brings the rope on stage. A second person is invited on stage to assist. The rope is given a good tug by the two spectators to prove it’s solidity as they hold it outstretched between themselves. Performer now stands between the two assistants with his back to the rope. He takes hold of the rope on each side of his body and with one swift motion passes the rope RIGHT THROUGH HIS MIDDLE! The rope is gathered up and each assistant is thanked for their help and return to their respective seats.

The impact of this effect is tremendous and can easily be the perfect conclusion to your favorite rope routine.
