The Telltale Accessory Stand

Description

This came from a magician’s estate purchase. The stand is cleverly designed to reveal to the performer one of four playing cards (or any type of cards like ESP, etc.) that are chosen while the performer has their back turned or is out of the room.

Effect: Four cards are seen resting in a wooden stand. The performer asks a  spectator to remove one of the cards, remember it, show it to all the audience members, and then replace the card back to the stand. All this is done while the performer has their backed turned or is out of the room. As soon as the performer turns around to face the audience or re-enters the room they are able to immediately know which card has been selected! How the routine proceeds from here is up to each individual entertainer.
