Color Changing or Vanishing Pencil

A pencil and a metal tube are freely shown. You may even write with the pencil to prove that it is real. The pencil is placed inside the metal tube and capped. When the cap is removed the pencil has completely vanished! The tube can be given out for inspection at this time and they will find no trace of the pencil.
